Tech Index is written and maintained by Hassan Jan, a frontend developer based in Malakand, Pakistan. I work primarily with web development and the MERN stack, and this site is where I document what I actually use and test.
Before anything goes live, it gets reviewed by someone with hands-on experience in the relevant area. If it’s a complex tutorial, it gets additional eyes from a specialist in that stack.

How We Approach Quality
Every tutorial is tested across the platforms where it applies. Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, iOS, wherever it’s relevant. Each solution documents where it was tested so you know what you’re working with.
Articles are reviewed by working developers and IT professionals before publication. Nothing gets published based on theory alone.
Software changes, and tutorials that worked two years ago often do not work today. Each guide shows its last verification date, and things get updated when they need to be.
How I Write
Every tutorial includes step-by-step instructions with complete code examples, exact error messages with specific fixes, troubleshooting sections for the issues that come up most, and before-and-after examples where they help.
What I try to avoid: generic advice with no real commands, tutorials built on outdated versions, explanations that never get to the point, and solutions that skip the steps that actually matter.

Why This Site Exists
Most developers hit the same walls. Documentation that assumes you already know what you’re trying to learn. Tutorials that skip setup. Answers scattered across dozens of forum threads. Solutions from 2022 that simply do not work anymore.
Tech Index exists to consolidate tested solutions into guides that are actually complete. When you follow a tutorial here, the troubleshooting has already been done.
